Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Painter (Level 4)
Preparation
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, or applying solvents or paint removers.
Mixing
Mix, thin, and blend paint, oil, and thinning and drying additives to reach the desired color or consistency.
Application
Apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to protect interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and other structures.
Inspection
